Setting up and troubleshooting FL studio with the Arturia Minifuse (1 and 4)

Arturia Minifuse 1

🔧 1. Set Up the Interface

  • Plug your mic/instrument into Input 1.

  • Turn on 48V if using a condenser mic.

  • Set gain so it’s green (not red).


⚙️ 2. FL Studio Audio Settings

Options → Audio Settings

  • Windows: MiniFuse ASIO

  • Mac: Core Audio → MiniFuse 1

  • Buffer: 128–256 samples


🎛️ 3. Choose the Input in the Mixer

Press F9 → select a mixer track
On the right under IN, choose:
👉 Input 1 – MiniFuse 1

You should see levels moving when you talk/play.


🎧 4. Choose Monitoring Style

  • Direct Monitor ON (button on MiniFuse) = No latency, no FX

  • FL Studio monitor (green speaker icon) = FX but some latency


⏺️ 5. Arm & Record

  • Click the disk icon on the mixer track → choose save location

  • Press Record → select “Audio into Playlist as an audio clip”

Record, stop, and your audio will appear in the Playlist.


 

Arturia Minifuse 4

🔧 1. Hook Up the MiniFuse 4

  • Plug your mic/instrument into Input 1 or 2

  • Turn on 48V if using a condenser mic.

  • Adjust GAIN until levels stay green (avoid red).

  • Inputs 3/4 on the back are line-level only.


⚙️ 2. FL Studio Audio Settings

Options → Audio Settings

  • Windows: MiniFuse ASIO

  • Mac: Core Audio → MiniFuse 4

  • Buffer: 128–256 samples for recording


🎛️ 3. Pick Your Input in the Mixer

Press F9 → select a mixer track
On the right under IN, choose one:

  • Input 1 – MiniFuse 4 (Front left)

  • Input 2 – MiniFuse 4 (Front right)

  • Input 3 – MiniFuse 4 (Rear L)

  • Input 4 – MiniFuse 4 (Rear R)

You’ll see the meters move when the signal comes in.


🎧 4. Choose Monitoring Type

  • Direct Monitor ON (on the interface) = Zero latency, no FX

  • FL Studio monitor (green speaker icon) = Hear effects, slight latency


⏺️ 5. Arm & Record

  • Click the disk icon on the mixer track → choose save folder

  • Press Record → select “Audio into Playlist as an audio clip”

Your recording will appear as a waveform in the Playlist.
