To help you make the most of your PIRATE.COM experience, we’ve outlined what to expect on your first visit, along with some hints and tips:
Before your visit

Enter your details in each box. If you have a referral code from another PIRATE.COM customer, please enter it at this point
Select Join PIRATE.COM and we’ll send you a verification SMS to confirm your mobile number. You’ll need to confirm this number before you can use your account
Confirmed? You’re ready to get started. We’ll send you a quick email about how to make your first booking
Being verified unlocks extra features at PIRATE.COM, like Refer-a-Friend credits. You also need to have your identity verified before you book one of our DJ or production studios, so it’s a worthwhile investment! Don’t worry, the process only takes two minutes. Read more
Book your session
Our live booking calendar shows the latest availability of studios. You can book anywhere from a year in advance right up until a few minutes beforehand. Some studios are popular, so we recommend securing your slot in advance.
TIP: Book enough time to set-up and get comfortable with the gear, and pack-down/pack-up anything you’ve brought along.
You can either book and pay for each session individually, pr purchase studio credit to add to your account, then use that credit to book your sessions.
To make sure your session goes smoothly, we suggest taking a couple of minutes to read a bit more about the type of studio you’ve booked:

Unfortunately, due to repeated issues with the damage and misplacement of equipment, we can no longer offer a guaranteed keyboard hire service.
On the day
Re-read your confirmation email
It has directions to the studio, your codes for the front door, and the booked studio. The first you booked a studio type, we’ll also send you a quick overview of that space and equipment.
We recommend you come to the studio 15 minutes before your session to help orientate yourself, check out our common areas and find your studio.
We want you, and the rest of the PIRATE.COM community, to have the best possible experience using our facilities. To help us achieve that, we ask that you stick to a few ‘house rules’ when visiting PIRATE.COM.
Respect other Pirates
Absolutely no smoking or vaping
Keep all liquids away from the equipment
Tidy up at the end of your session
Turn off the air-con or heater fan, before you leave
If anything breaks or needs troubleshooting during your session, please let us know as soon as you can. Contact us via live chat at support.pirate.com and we’ll help diagnose the issue. We carry spares on site so you can get back to playing again straight away.
Some DJ studios offer CAPTURE.AUDIO which enables recording your mix with just your phone.
Good to know
We don't keep a record of lost property, so the simplest way is for you to pop back to the studios to take a look in our lost property cupboard/closet. Contact us via live chat to arrange. Head to support.pirate.com and tap the chat icon to connect.
