What should I do if equipment breaks?

It happens; our equipment needs care and repair sometimes. It's really simple to fix. All you need to do is hit us up on live chat at support.pirate.com, and we'll do our best to diagnose the fault, get you a replacement or borrow from another room. 

How to report an issue

  1. Contact us via live chat or text/WhatsApp as soon as you notice an issue
  2. We will attempt to diagnose the fault first — share a video or photo with us
  3. We will then get you a replacement if the diagnosis fails
  4. Then please wrap or cover the unwell piece of gear with some broken tape*
  5. We will then pick it up in the morning

*Usually found on tape dispensers in the corridors, in the studios, or in the spares cupboard.

 

Please note: It's very important — and a big part of the Pirate community — that if you have a broken or faulty item, it is removed from the room so the next group do not suffer the same issue.
