This article outlines exactly what equipment we have at our studios or what you can expect to find when arriving to your booking.
In all of our DJ Standard studios, we provide the following equipment:
- Decks - 2x Pioneer CDJ-2000 NXS2
- Mixer - 1x Pioneer DJM-900 NXS2
- Speakers - 2x Pioneer XPRS 10
In most of our DJ Pro studios (please check the bookings page for a detailed equipment list), we provide the following equipment:
- Decks - 3x Pioneer CDJ-2000 NXS2
- Mixer - 1x Pioneer DJM-900 NXS2 or Allen & Heath Xone:96
- Speakers - 2x Pioneer XPRS 10
- Larger room size
Do you provide the new CDJ-3000s?
Only in a few selected locations and rooms, f.e. some rooms in Croydon, Wembley, Dalston etc. Please check out the equipment list for each room on book.pirate.com
Do you have any vinyl turntables?
No, we only provide CDJ decks at all of our locations. However, you're welcome to bring your own turntables (in DJ rooms only, our other studios are not designed for playing DJ sets). You'd just need to make sure you bring all required cables to connect them to the mixer, and a table/stands to place them on - our CDJs are bolted to a DJ booth which is bolted to the floor and cannot be moved.
Do you provide headphones with the studios?
No, you must bring your own headphones to the session. Our DJMs have both a 3.5mm and 1/4' jack input, but we always recommend bringing a headphone adaptor just in case.
Do you have cables to connect a laptop to the decks?
No, we don't I'm afraid. Please bring 3 USB cables and a powered USB hub (more info here), as we do not offer extra equipment, including cables.
Is there a mic in the room?
No we do not offer extra equipment. Please bring your own mic and XLR cable to your session.
