This may only happen on our Focusrite Clarett 4 Pre USB interfaces and it indicates the speakers are in the wrong ports on the back of the interface. They need to be in LINE OUTPUTS 1 and 2 (pictured below).
The above is the correct way to route the speakers, but if for any reason this hasn't resolved your issue, you will need to download Focusrite Control for this model of interface, and perform a factory reset (File > Restore Factory Defaults).
