ARTURIA Minifuse 1 Setup
Minifuse interfaces are powered by your laptop or phone and are plug and play devices. Here's how to setup:
1) Insert the USB Cable into the port with a Laptop icon on the back of the interface (as seen below) and plug the other end into your laptop. The interface should now be powered on.
2) Select the Arturia Minifuse as the input and output in your Recording Software (DAW).
If it's not appearing as an option, please click HERE to download the Minifuse Control center and restart your laptop. This is a one-off step and the interface should now appear in the input/output settings.
3) Press the 48V Button on the front to engage phantom power for the mic and the guitar symbol, if an instrument is connected instead.
4) To connect the Midi Keyboard, plug the USB cable into the USB A port on the back of the interface.
If your laptop alerts that the devices are drawing too much power: Disconnect the usb cable from the interface and laptop and reconnect again. If the issue persists, connect the keyboard into your laptop directly instead.
5) Adjusting the gain will decrease/increase the mic volume, the Monitor knob will decrease/increase speaker sound, and the knob to the far right will affect the volume for the headphones.
Please note, the Minifuse 1 only has 1 headphone port.
Connecting via Mobile Phone/Tablet Only
If you're looking to connect your mobile phone or device (Android phone, Apple iPhone or iPad) to the Arturia Minifuse interface in a Recording Lite room, please bear in mind you will only be able to do it under specific circumstances and only via extra equipment brought by yourself (more info below).

Apple: If you'd like to connect your iPhone/iPad to the Minifuse interface, first you will need to bring an Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter + a USB C phone charger to the session.
Connect your iPhone/iPad to the Lightning end on the Apple adapter and plug the Minifuse USB A-C cable into the USB A port on the Apple adapter (the USB C end goes into the Minifuse laptop port) - this will transfer data from your device into the interface and viceversa.and
Connect the USB C phone charger into the USB C port of the Apple adapter and into the power sockets - this will keep your device in charge the whole time.
If you need to use the MIDI keyboard, you can plug it to the USB A HUB port at the back of the interface.
Open up your recording software on your device (eg. Garageband) and your device should recognise the interface and keyboard automatically, so you're ready to record. More information can be found in this video.

Android: to record via your Android phone or tablet, the process is basically the same as above, however charging isn't guaranteed as Android devices do not all work the same way - you will need to research and test to find out which adaptor works best for you.
Here's a solution we think it may work with most phones/tablets, despite we do not take any responsibility if this isn't the case for you.
You will need an Apple USB C Digital AV Multiport Adapter and a USB C phone charger.
Connect your device via USB C to the USB C end of the Apple adapter; plug the Minifuse USB A cable we provide into the USB A port of the Apple adapter (the USB C port will connect to the laptop port on the Minifuse) - these will transfer data between your device and the Minifuse audio interface.
To charge your device, connect the USB phone charger your brought into the wall power sockets and into the USB C port on the Apple adaptor.and
