Your Rehearsal essentials
What to bring before your Rehearsal room session
Before heading down to one of our Rehearsal rooms, make sure you have everything you need to get set up and running. Always check book.pirate.com for the full equipment list in your booked room — you'll need to bring any extras outside of that list. We don't provide spares, only replacements in case our own equipment breaks.
🎒 What to bring
- Your instruments! Guitars, bass guitar, and jack cables.
- Drumsticks — we can't provide any sticks.
- Your keyboard and keyboard stand — we don't provide these.
- An AUX cable and Apple Lightning adaptor to connect your device to the mixer. More info here.
- Extra mics or mic stands beyond what's specified for the room.
- Anything else outside the room's equipment list — e.g. guitar picks, straps, etc.
🥁 Booked a Rehearsal Standard room?
You may also need to bring:
- Cymbals — not provided in Standard rooms. Cymbals come with Rehearsal Pro, Lite, and Showcase studios.
- A second guitar amp — only comes with Rehearsal Pro rooms.
Standard rooms require you to bring the items above yourself. Alternatively, feel free to cancel and rebook a Rehearsal Pro or Lite room instead.
🥁 Drummers looking for a full kit
Rent a Rehearsal Pro or Rehearsal Lite room. Note that Rehearsal Lite rooms won't have guitar or bass amps, but they do come with a full drum kit including cymbals — making them ideal for solo drum practice.
