ARTURIA Minifuse 4 setup

For Recording Standard rooms — laptop to interface to speakers

1️⃣ Connect the interface to your laptop

Connect the USB cable to the back of the interface, in the port with the laptop icon, and plug the other end into your laptop. The interface is powered by your device.

2️⃣ Connect the speakers

Connect the speaker cables into Outputs 1L and 2R. Speaker volume is adjusted with the Monitor knob on the front of the interface.

3️⃣ Connect the mic or instrument

Plug the mic XLR or instrument cable into the far-left input. Using a mic? Press the 48V button to enable phantom power. Using an instrument instead? Press the guitar icon. The gain knob to the right of the input increases or decreases the mic or instrument volume.

4️⃣ Connect the headphones

Connect the desk headphones to the front of the interface, in the headphone port labelled 1. The booth headphones connect into Port 2. Volume for each is adjusted with the knobs above the ports.

Headphones 2 setup: install the Minifuse Control Center. In the Outputs tab, select Outputs 3&4 and make sure Analog 1, Analog 2, and USB 3-4 are enabled. Click the + next to USB 3-4 Level Mixer, add Computer Source 1-2, then unmute USB 1-2. Audio should now play through both headphones.

5️⃣ Set it as your audio device

Open your Mac or Windows audio settings and choose the Arturia Minifuse 4 as both your Input and Output device. Repeat the same for your recording software — for example, Logic Pro X > Preferences > Audio > Device.
