How to Setup the Arturia Minifuse 4 in Recording Standard rooms

How to setup: LAPTOP TO INTERFACE TO SPEAKERS

  1. Ensure the USB Cable is connected to the back of the interface in the port with the Laptop Icon and connect the other end to your laptop. This interface is powered by your device.

  2. Connect the speaker cables into OUTPUTS 1L and 2R. Speaker volume is adjusted by the monitor knob on the front of the interface.

  3. Plug the mic XLR or instrumental cable into the far left input. If using the mic, press the 48V button to enable phantom power. If an instrument is plugged in, press the icon with the guitar. 
    The gain knob to the right of the input will increase or decrease the volume of your mic/instrument.

  4. Connect the desk headphones into the front of the interface in the headphone port labeled 1. The booth headphones will connect into Port 2 and the volume for each can be adjusted with the knobs above the ports. 
    Headphones 2 Setup: Install MiniFuse Control Center (Click HERE). In the Outputs tab, select Outputs 3&4 and ensure Analog 1, Analog 2, and USB 3-4 are enabled. Click the + next to USB 3-4 Level Mixer, add Computer Source 1-2, then unmute USB 1-2. Audio should now play through both headphones.

  5. Finally, open your Mac/Windows audio settings and choose the Arturia Minifuse 4 as both your Input and Output device. 
    Repeat the same process for your recording software; eg. Logic Pro X > Preferences > Audio > Device.
