What is a Subject Access Request and how do I make one?

What is a subject access request?
A subject access request (SAR) is simply a written request made by or on behalf of an individual for the information which he or she is entitled to ask for under section 7 of the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA).

How do I request the data that Pirate has stored about me?

You can download a JSON file with all the data held about you by Pirate. The file is downloaded from the account details page by clicking the Data Export download button. You must be logged in to your account and will need to re-enter your password to access the download. The file is downloaded over HTTPS.
